In this activity, students learn about the components of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic controls and their conventional symbols on diagrams, the principles of their control, and observe and analyse the operation of such systems.  

Objective of the activity: To help students understand pneumatic and electro-pneumatic control systems and their operation.

Objectives:

- To become familiar with pneumatic and electro-pneumatic devices and their operation;

- To recall (review previous material) the electromechanical and electronic control devices.

- Recall (review previous material) the basics of logic control, basic logic functions.

- Carry out an analysis of a given circuit diagram.
